Now I'm really glad I didn't create a new community!
After 1 week of typing it in I've decided to keep track of my food journal on paper so that I can go back and count up the amount of protein and dairy and note the lack of vegetables and fruits more easily.

raw "soup" with brussel sprouts, red cabbage, onion, jalapeno pepper, chickpea sprouts and garlic dropped in a broth of braggs (this was actually not too bad)

feeling pretty tired right now...craving rice today...my stomach was a little upset everytime i ate


1 asian pear

quarter of a coconut

coleslaw with red cabbage, 1 shredded carrot, a handfull of raisins, lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of flax oil, 1 tablespoon of olive oil (both cold-pressed), two cloves of garlic and a pinch of sea salt

still feeling good...weightloss has slowed down a little now...craved fake chicken nuggets today, because i made them for my boss and they smelled so good

so, I just went back on raw food...it's been 0ne week, and i feel great...i even fought the temptation to eat chocolate, when it was right in front of me for 8 hours....i didn't have any...wow...anyone who knows me, knows that's an accomplishment.


the juice of one coconut
the meat of half a coconut
one banana
a salad made from: dressing: one avocado
one lemon
two cloves of garlic
a shot of braggs (i know...not really raw)
ingredients: one grated carrot
one bunch of broccoli
one cup of buckwheat sprouts

Didn't eat much today, because i went to the dentist...so coudn't eat for 4 hours cause my whole lower jaw was frozen.

Dinner: Coleslaw, slice of ham, cheese crackers...

*went dancin' last night, had two mexican martinis... whoops!*

Hey all...

I have been on a diet since January...but before than I was just dealing with COE (compulsive overeating.)

anyway...this year so far, I haven't binged. yay. I'm glad. I intend to lose at least 50 pounds...until then i'll just keep truckin'

yesterday I ate:

4 lunch: potato and ham soup w/ crackers

*went dancin' yesterday so had two beers while movin' around allot...*

midnight dinner: leftover potato and ham soup
-cheese crackers.

I don't eat at the smartest of times.

hi! i'm actually kellzilla...that's my main, personal journal...i made zillafood to take the daily posting of my food stats off my friends' pages. i use it exclusively to post my fat/calorie daily intake. i don't know if i'll be posting here very often since the journal itself is for the same purpose as this community is, but i'll be reading you guys' posts. :)

i'm not really on a diet. i don't need to lose weight. (i could STAND to lose weight, but i don't NEED to, nor do i necessarily WANT to: for being 5'9", 140lbs is NORMAL.) i just food journal to find out what i'm eating and seeing my trends. earlier this week, i realized i was on a slightly healthier-than-normal (for me) food kick, so i thought it'd be interesting to see what i am eating over a period of time. so far, it's been a riot!

Has anyone else here discovered that a good substitute for syrup when having waffles or pancakes is FRUIT?!

My mom discovered it before I did. If you get some canned peaches and you put them on top of and in between your waffles or pancakes, it's DEEE-LISH!

And it'll count for a fruit/veggie serving!

Maybe I should introduce myself?

I have been in weight watchers one week, I am hoping to lose 40 pounds. I am surprised at how much I am enjoying WW. My first weigh in will be on Tuesday (coming up). I am happy that I am finally doing something about my weight. I am tired of wearing the same three pairs of pants. And they were getting too small for me, so it was time.

I signed myself up, I hope it's okay. I am new to WW, and think variety in food will help me.

today I had:
two packs of cinnamin and maple sugar irish oatmeal (trader joe's) 6 points
2 tblspoons muesli (mixed in) 1 point (guessing)

plate of raw veggies and fruit (broccoli, carrots, dried apricots (5), cantalope, strawberries, grapes (4 pts)
water/hot tea

roasted chicken (no skin) three servings (oops!) 12 points
steamed veggies (green ones)
stewed tomatoes/onions/garlic sauteed in olive oil 3 points

24 points/2 flexpoints
